Programme management 

 

Programme Director  

The Programme Director is the member from the Coordinating Institution who participates in the Programme Committee, is defined by a decision of the Programme Committee, and has the obligations and responsibilities that are defined in Article 6. The term of office of the Director is two years, with the possibility of renewal without limitation

The Consortium has identified University of Patras (UPATRAS) as the Coordinating Institution for the “ADRION Joint Transnational Master’s Programme in Renewable Energy”. The Coordinating institution has the primary legal responsibility for the proper execution of this agreement. The Coordinating Institution responsibilities are:

  1. managing the administrative, legal, and financial aspects of the Consortium on the basis of the terms of this Agreement, 
  2. ensuring that all the necessary arrangements and resources are available for the effective delivery and management of the Programme, 
  3. maintaining full records of the Programme, including details of the students, their academic progress, awards achieved and such other information as necessary, 
  4. signature of the Student Agreements on behalf of the Consortium, 
  5. delivering transcripts and diplomas from Coordinating Institution, 
  6. organization and management of the application and registration system. 

 

The Programme Committee (PC)

The Programme Committee holds executive power to make all decisions related to the successful and compliant operation of the Programme. This decision-making power extends to all matters concerning the Programme, including, but not limited to, those pertaining to general management, academic supervision, quality assurance, changes to the Consortium, dispute resolution and student complaints related to the overall organization of the Programme, in so far as this does not conflict with the local rules and regulations of the Partner Institutions. 

 

Admission Committee 

Under the supervision of the Programme Committee, the Admission Committee is responsible for the evaluation, selection, and admission of all students to the Programme, including “ADRION Joint Transnational Master Programme in Renewable Energy” grantees. The Admission Committee acts on mandate from the faculties/departments of the partner universities or directly from the universities the Programme derives from. 

 

Quality Assurance Committee  

The Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) will advise the Programme Committee on all aspects relevant to the Consortium, particularly regarding the implementation and impact of the Programme. QAC is responsible for the academic and scientific evaluation of the Programme, and it will provide an independent benchmark of the course against national and international standards. 

 

Partner Committees 

Each Partner shall organize and realize the Programme’s activities in its own institution.
